The Pyrenees Mountains 

 

The Pyreneean mountain range offers some of the most beautiful scenery in Spain. Our trip crosses this most magnificent and incredible range of mountains and takes you through some of the most beautiful and magical views in Europe . This is a nine day round trip, two days traveling to our start point,  five days in the mountains and two days to travel back home.

As a vehicle dependent expedition,  this will be a camping adventure,  stopping at good sites on the way to the start point and dropping out of the mountains to our camp site en route.  The majority of the sites will have pools and wash facilities. We will have ample opportunity for shopping and photos along the way.

Our tour begins at Bossost located in the Aran valley located next to the Garona River.  This Pyrenees 4x4 Adventure will pass through this village as we  take our first mountain route looking down on to the green valleys below dotted with pretty white villages.  Each trail will  provide opportunities for photo shoots and time to sample the local delicacies.  The majority of the tracks will criss-cross through the Pyrenees with various terrain ranging from gravel , mud, rock  and sandy pistes

As we travel across and through this magnificent  mountain range, we head to the small hill side town of Tor, where we pick up the old smugglers trail used for hundreds of years to gain entrance in to Andorra . 
 

I would rate this trip at a mild to medium so any Vehicle with  ATs would be fine.  Can I  remind you that you will be carrying all your supplies, so good spring rates are paramount .....this is applicable for all vehicles on this trip. The lead vehicle will be well equipped carrying emergency equipment for the group this will include iridium sat phone, tyre repair equipment, full wilderness responder kit including comprehensive burns kit.

 

Once confirmation has been received of your attendance,  you will be sent joining instructions and a list of equipment you will need.

The cost of the midi expedition is £1550 for one vehicle and two occupants

Tour only cost is £900 

With the tour only cost you are responsible for your ferries and camping costs on the island, none of the ferry costs are included on any part of the tour.

 

This  trip is completly family friendly and is a great way to get the  children away for some fresh air
