South Wales Explorer
Welsh expedition trip... starting from mid Wales at Knighton we will make our way through mid Wales and as we do so, we will be taking in some of the best lanes South Wales has to offer.including Offa's dyke, Stow Hill and the stunning little axle twister.
This trip will be strictly first come first served basis and would not be suitable for soft roaders eg Freelander or Renegade's on standard lift. Most vehicles will want at least 2" lift with A.T. or Mud terrains. Under no circumstances will vehicles with claw or swamp tyres be allowed. If you turn up with them you will be asked to leave the group.
Although this is a vehicle dependent travel weekend Compass Adventures can arrange B & Bs or a hotel. We are most likely to be camping in the middle of nowhere but will arrange to pick you up from your accommodation and bring you to the group . The routes are also designed to be non vehicle damaging .There may be occasions where we have to drive through light brush, if your not happy with the lane I will give you an alternative route to join us at the other end.
Once confirmation has been received of your attendance, you will be sent joining instructions and a list of equipment you will need.
This Welsh explorer tour will be over two days and we have the option for camping or using hotels and B & B. You will experience a mixture of road driving and a selection of other terrains including mud rock and gravel with the odd ford thrown in for good measure. These weekends are designed to help you determine what products or accessories you may actually need for your vehicle.
All of the routes used have public vehicular rights of way and have been checked in advanced!

The cost of the midi expedition is £180 for one vehicle with two sharing for both days.
We also offer individual day price of £70 for either Saturday'Sunday'Monday
This explorer trip is family friendly and is a great way to get the children away for some fresh air
