This North Yorkshire explorer tour will be over three days and you  have the option for camping or using hotels and B&B.. You will experience a mixture of road driving whilst we link up with a  selection of other terrains including mud rock and gravel with the odd ford thrown in for good measure. Starting from Pickering  it will take us no longer than 10 minutes before we are on our first lane of the day. Our route will take us through some spectacular veiws whilst we traverse old Roman roads and herders trails that weave their way through the valleys and of course we will be doing Rudland Rigg with its wonderful rocks steps climbing onto the top of moors. 

 

We will aim to finish  for around 16.00 hrs to give us plenty of time to head for camp over in Hawes. Sunday we are in back into the lanes for 10.00 hrs taking in rocks some fords and one beautiful axle twisting climb.   We will  find plenty opportunities for photos and tea stops allowing the children and our four legged friends to burn off some energy.

 

Once again we aim to finish for around 16.00 hrs to give us time to hit our campsite in the Lake District.  There is a stunning pub which  is 15 minutes walk from the camp, serving good home made food and local ales.  We will be having an open fire at the camp in a large fire pit. If you don't want to camp, accommodation can be found on the farm or in the village.         Monday morning we will leave camp for 10.00 hrs and be on our first lane within 5 minutes.   The group will driving  the trails you can find anywhere in the UK  rocks, rocks and you guessed it more rocks but the views are magnificent. Our 3 day tour will finish at  Garth Row and 10 minutes from the M6.

Although this is a vehicle dependent travel weekend Compass Adventures can arrange  B & B's or a hotel.  

 

The routes are also designed to be non vehicle damaging . There may be occasions where we have to drive through light brush, if your not happy with the lane I will give you an alternative route to join us at the other end.

Once confirmation has been received of your attendance,  you will be sent joining instructions and a list of equipment you will need.

   

 This trip will be strictly first come first served basis and is suitable for 4x4 vehicles including small lift.....  Most vehicles will want at least 2" lift with  A.T. tyres .

The cost of this 3 midi expedition is £160 for one vehicle with two sharing for both days.

 

We also offer individua  day price of  £70 for ether Saturday or Sunday

This explorer trip is family friendly and is a great way to get the  children away for some fresh air and enjoy the outdoors.....Eating marsh mellows round a camp fire, there is nothing better.

Cost include camping ..B& B can be added or why not rent our tepee tent with log burner ...all you do is turn up we will pitch and prepare the tepee for you. £40 for the weekend or £25 per night.
